At Quarry House Vets, your pets safety and comfort is our top priority.
We cater to a wide range of domestic animals and pets from the usual cat, dog and rabbit to smaller pets like hamsters and gerbils.
Exotic animals are a speciality of ours so whether you have a cockatoo with a cold or snake that’s off his food then Quarry House Vets can help you.
VET SERVICES & SURGERIES
We are an RCVS accredited small animal practice and veterinary nurse training centre with experience in the treatment of exotic species. Our aim is investigation, diagnosis and treatment of every case presented to us. We make full use of our skills, knowledge and equipment to give the best possible care to all our patients.
We are always striving to provide a high quality service to our new and existing clients by continuing to improve standards and clinical diversity. We have a fully equipped operating theatre, diagnostic imaging suite, in-house laboratory for rapid diagnosis and separate dog and cat wards. We offer blood pressure monitoring, 24 hour hospital facilities, isolation areas and much more.
The vets take consultations at all 3 of our surgeries, on a rotational basis. We are able to perform minor surgical procedures at Albany Vets in Newton Abbot, including the neutering of cats and dogs, but our main operating centre is Quarry House Vets in Torquay. Any surgical procedures from St James Vets in Teignmouth will be carried out at Quarry House Vets or Albany Vets. Home visits can be arranged if required and we provide a full 24 emergency service.
Quarry house Vets has all the diagnostic facilities necessary for a busy clinic including:

At Quarry House Vets, we perform an array of surgical and non surgical procedures including:

All of the surgeries undertake general health checks and procedures, microchipping, vaccinations and stock a variety of prescription diets and general pet foods including Hills and Royal Canin.

NURSE SERVICES
Our nursing staff are available for appointments for routine procedures like:
- Nail clipping
- Anal glands
- Advice on flea/worm/tick prevention
- Post operative checks
- Dental checks
- Obesity advice
- Puppy/kitten advice
- Senior pets advice
PET TRAVEL
All of our branches can provide the preparation for your pets’ Animal Health Certificate however the Animal Health Certificate will be issued from our main Torquay clinic.
